workshop experimentation

Here i am working with the idea of using cardboard cutouts, not just as a mock up but also as a viable means of producing a final prototype, as seen it is fairly strong enough to hold a 5kg book at only 1:5 scale.

A un-usual type to join wood, without the use of any types of fasteners.

All need, is a hammer to bash it in an it acts as a fastener much like a screw/nail.

The use of a L-bracket, conventional stuff.

And here is a very rough 1:5 scale model using 5mm plywood with brackets an screws.

With only the need of using brackets on the top, it is already very strong.

Using a 15kg jerry can it can hold its weight fine, an later on i stood on it, which means it has passed one of the test of holding weight... With such achievements i think this is one of the ways to proceed to building up the final prototype an concept with the use of plywood 5mm and brackets.
